This inspection was conducted as a Compliance Evaluation Inspection (CEI) to ensure compliance with permit requirements and conditions. Page# 1 31 NPDES yr/mo/day NCG500582 111 121 22/07/14 I17 Inspection Type 18 [j (Cont.) 1 Section D: Summary of Finding/Comments (Attach additional sheets of narrative and checklists as necessary) The General Permit NCG500582 became effective on December 1, 2020, expires November 30, 2025 and is for the discharge of non -contact cooling water, via Outfall #002 and stormwater via Outfall #001, into Second Creek which is Class C waters (Sub -basin #03-07-07) in the Yadkin River Basin. The facility utilizes Pace Labatory (Lab Certification #40) and has a Field Laboratory Certification #5588 to perform on -site sample analysis for Temperature, pH, Total Residual Chlorine. Labatory analysis, chain of custody forms and calibration records were well kept and readily available for review. At time of inspection discharge point for Outfall #002 into Second Creek was reviewed. The outfall was discharging at time of visit and it was noted that there were no discharge of floating solids or visible foam other than trace amounts. Outfall #001 was not discharging due to low water level in stormwater pond. At time of Compliance Evaluation Inspection (CEI) subject facility appeared to be compliant with effluent limits and monitoring requirements.
