On -Site Determination for Applicability to the Neuse River Riparian Area Protection Rules (15A NCAC
2B.0233) Express Review
Dear Mr. Grady:
On July 17, 2014, at your request, Mr. Roberto Scheller of this Office conducted an on -site determination of a drainage
feature located on the subject property. The drainage was reviewed for applicability to the Neuse Buffer Rules in
accordance with (15A NCAC 2B .0233). The feature is labeled as "F 1" on the attached maps and initialed on July 18,
2014.
The Division of Water Resources (DWR) has determined that the features labeled as "F t" on the attached maps
and highlighted in blue is subject to the Neuse Buffer Rules. The stream determination is 60 feet upstream and 60 feet
downstream of point F 1 (N 35° 23' 58.56 ", W 77° 53'41.90") of the existing culvert crossing and as shown on the
attached maps. It was noted that the any work and/or construction within the subject feature will require a Nation Wide
Permit from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and a General Certification from this Office.
The owner (or future owners) should notify the DWR (and other relevant agencies) of this decision in any future
correspondences concerning this property. This on -site determination shall expire five (5) years from the date of this
