We will be setting up a temporary concrete batch plant to produce concrete needed for the project. As part of the plant setup process, we are required to obtain coverage under the general permit, NCG140000, which regulates the discharge of process wastewater to surface waters in North Carolina. Part of the application process requires us to consider alternatives to surface water discharge. In particular we are asked to consider taking the untreated wastewater to a local wastewater treatment plant for processing. Would your facility accept this water? I anticipate the pH of untreated wastewater to be 12+ and the TSS to be well in excess of 100 mg/I If you have any questions or need any clarification, please feel free to reach out to me.
