Mr. Perkins
The Asheville Regional Office has reviewed the 5-day report and circumstances surrounding the
cause of the SSO referenced in the Notice of Violation-Notice of Intent to Issue Civil Penalty (NOV-
2022-DV-0176). Based on the circumstance surrounding the SSO, the Division will take no further
action with regards to this notice at this time. We encourage the Town to continue to work diligently
towards the prevention and elimination of SSOs in an effort to maintain continued compliance with
Permit No. WQCS00131.
Please feel free to contact me directly should you have any questions.
Thank you,
Mikal Willmer (she/her)
