Brittany, Both outfalls should be removed from BIMS for this general permit NCG120071. SD01 is the outfall no longer discharging stormwater from an industrial activity at the landfill, but in the future will need to be "reactivated". I can't recall from my "BIMS days" if you can suspend monitoring for that outfall or not. Please add the other two new outfalls, SD02 and SD03. Outfall 001 is related to the construction permit for the borrow area and not the landfill. I am not sure how it got attached to NCG120071, but that is an error. Outfall 001 is associated with NCG191124 and has the following coordinates: 001— Lat (35.17715), Long (-83.91395) Thanks and let me know if you need anything else. Jay S. Jay Zimmerman, P.G. The COC for Cherokee County is NCG120071 and is associated with their active landfill. The current SDO-1 is no longer a viable outfall since there is no industrial activity currently associated with the outfalls drainage area. Our client needs to keep the outfall since it is tied to an area permitted by the Div. of Waste Management for expansion, but until that activity begins we have recommended they not continue to sample stormwater. During our site visit associated with SWPPP we identified two other outfall locations where there is industrial activity occurring. The designations and coordinates for the two outfalls is as follows: SDO-2 - Lat 35.177637 , Long-83.908570 SDO-3 - Lat 35.181583, Long-83.908146 Please advise if you need additional information. Please respond with the COC number so I can check the current outfall coordinates. We have a client that wishes to change the stormwater discharge outfall (SDO) designation for their general permit, NCG120000. They currently have a SDO-1 that no longer captures stormwater from industrial activities at their landfill, but wish to add 2 new outfalls identified as part of the SWPPP development. Is this something you can assist with? I saw on the DEMLR web page that Bethany was the point of contact for changes to outfalls, but I wasn't sure if that applied to individual permits only, or also general permits. In your last email to me you indicated you handled items related to GP's and Mrs. Tran assisted with the eDMR's, which is why I am reaching out to you. Thanks for any help you can offer. Jay S.
