Bridge to Culvert at existing crossing of Town Creek on SR 1400 in Wilson County. WBS 17BPAR.56 Dear Sirs: The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) proposes to remove and replace Bridge #94, a 2 span bridge, over Town Creek on SR 1400 in Wilson County. The existing bridge will be replaced with 2, 12' X 7' box culverts with headwalls and wingwalls. This activity proposes to permanently impact a total of 40 linear feet of stream channel. Also 39 additional ft of stream and buffer will be permanently impacted due to channel improvements and bank stabilization. NCDOT anticipates that this pipe replacement activity will be authorized under Nationwide Permit 14 and NCDWQ GC # 3886. If you have any questions or need any additional information, please contact Chad Coggins, Division Environmental Officer at (252) 296 -3532. Your time and effort are appreciated.
