I wanted to note that, on the outlet side, we were unable to slope the existing stream bed on the right side due to a steep slope and ROW limits. We instead had our contractor stack the class II rip rap under the existing overhanging bank. With a larger pipe to dissipate velocity, its unlikely that the banks will experience the pressures they faced with the previously undersized pipe. I have attached a picture for your review. We also included a mixture of class B, class II and native material on the inlet side in the stream bed. Class II alone was so thick that it was sticking above the stream bed elevation. Completion forms are attached. Let me know if you have any questions.
