I received today your letter dated July 26, 2005. On the afternoon of May 19,
2005 the discussion for our application for After-the-Fact Individual Permit was
that we would commence the process as soon as possible. We have retained
Carter & Associates in Southern Pines to assist us with this process; as you
know, it takes time to do it right. I spoke to Dr. Carter this morning; he will have
the applications complete as soon as possible for Bruce and Tammy Wheeler
and ourselves.
I recognize that your division has been patient to this point and would appreciate
further patience on your part so that we may complete our application process.
