THE LANDFILL IS CLOSED ON NEW YEAR'S DAY, INDEPENDENCE DAY, THANKSGIVING DAY, AND CHRISTMAS DAY. 3. THE CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION LANDFILL IS PERMITTED FOR DISPOSAL OF CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION DEBRIS: PLYWOOD, FIXTURES, ELECTRICAL MATERIALS, DOORS, PAINTED WOOD, NON -RECYCLABLE CONCRETE, WINDOWS, DRYWALL, SHINGLES, VINYL SIDING, PLUMBING MATERIALS, AND TREATED WOOD. ASBESTOS IS DISPOSED IN A DESIGNATED CELL WITHIN THE C&D LANDFILL BY THE LANDFILL OPERATOR. THE ASBESTOS WASTE SHALL BE PROPERLY BAGGED OR OBTAINED AND WITH MANIFEST DOCUMENTS BEFORE ACCEPTANCE FOR THE WASTE BEFORE PLACING INTO THE C&D LANDFILL. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY LANDFILL 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF ASBESTOS DISPOSAL AT 910-396-6873. YARD WASTE IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE C&D LANDFILL. 4. THE TREE AND YARD WASTE RECYCLING COLLECTION AREA IS PERMITTED TO ACCEPT YARD WASTE, TREES 5. THE CARDBOARD RECYCLING COLLECTION AREA IS PERMITTED TO ACCEPT ANY TYPE OF CORRUGATED CARDBOARD, WITH THE FOLLOWINGS EXCEPTIONS: NO PAPERBOARD, FOODBOARD, AND NO WAXED CARDBOARD. ANY CARDBOARD CONTAMINATED WITH FOOD SHALL NOT BE DISPOSED OF IN THE CARDBOARD RECYCLING COLLECTION AREA. 6. THE CONCRETE RECYCLING AREA IS PERMITTED FOR DISPOSAL OF CLEAN CONCRETE BRICKS, AND ASPHALT DEBRIS. CLEAN CONCRETE MUST BE SEGREGATED FROM OTHER WASTE FOR RECYCLING- CLEAN CONCRETE SHALL BE FREE OF ASBESTOS, FREE OF LEAD -BASED PAINTS, AND FREE OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS/WASTES. NO MASTIC AND NO TILES ARE ALLOWED IN CONCRETE RECYCLING AREA. 7. THE PALLET RECYCLING AREA IS PERMITTED FOR DISPOSAL OF WOOD AND METAL PALLETS. PALLETS MUST BE STACKED NEATLY IN DESIGNATED AREA. 8. THE METAL RECYCLING AREA IS PERMITTED FOR DISPOSAL OF ANY SCRAP METAL GENERATED FROM THE CONSTRUCTION SITE. SCRAP METAL SHALL BE SEGREGATED BY ALUMINUM, BRASS, COPPER, AND STEEL AND PLACED IN THE APPROPRIATE CONTAINERS. CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL TYPES OF MATERIALS ATTACHED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. 9. THE CONCERTINA RECYCLING AREA IS PERMITTED FOR DISPOSAL OF CONCERTINA WIRE. CONTRACTOR SHALL 10. THE MSW IS PREPARED FOR SHIPMENT AND IS TRANSPORTED TO AN APPROVED AND PERMITTED LANDFILL OFF FORT BRAGG. 11.TIRES ARE PROHIBITED FROM BEING DISPOSED IN FORT BRAGG LANDFILLS. 12.HAZARDOUS WASTE AND LIQUID WASTE ARE PROHIBITED FROM BEING DISPOSED IN FORT BRAGG LANDFILLS. 13. APPLIANCES/WHITE GOODS WHICH INCLUDE ITEMS SUCH AS; WASHERS, DRYERS, REFRIGERATORS, AND AIR 14. ALL LANDFILL USERS MUST DELIVER LOADS PRE -SEGREGATED FOR DELIVERY TO THE LAMONT LANDFILL. ALL LANDFILL USERS WILL RECYCLE TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT POSSIBLE. 15.A LANDFILL DISPOSAL PERMIT IS REQUIRED TO ENTER THE LANDFILL. SEDIMENT FENCE INSTALLATION USING THE SLICING METHOD Instead of excavating a wench placing fabric and then bac 'lit , p b left 1 ng trench, sediment fence may be installed using specially designed equipment that inserts the fabric into a cut sliced in the ground with a disc (Figure 6.62b). Installation I. The base of both end posts should be at least one foot higher than the Specifications nuiuldle of the fence. Check with level if necessary. 2. Install posts 4 feet apart in critical areas and 6 feet apart on standard applications. 3.
