1. Buffer''Mitigation
You are required"to mitigate for impaets'to the protected riparian buffers. The requ'ired area
of mitigation to compensate for impacts to the protected riparian buffers is 68 square feet as
required under this variance 'a,pproval and 15A NCAC 2B :0259., We understand thatyou are,
intending to plan't,one containerized tree that is native to the piedmont of•Nbrth Carolina;in
the riparian buffer. Th'is,planting will satisfy our compensatory mitigation requirements under
15A NCAC 02B.,0260(9).
3, Protective Fencing,
°The'outside buffer, wetland or,water boundary and along the construction corridor within
these boiandaries,approved shall be clea rly, marked with orange warn ing,fencing (or similar
high visibility mater,ial),for the areas that,have been approved to infringe,within ,the buffer,
wetland or water prior to any land di "sturbing activities to ensure compliance with 15A NCAC
02B .0233.
4. Nb Waste, Spoil, Solids;,or, Fill Hof Any Kind
No waste,;spoil, solids, or fill of any kind shall occur 'in wetlands, waters,,or riparian­areas
beyond the footprint,ofthe nhpacts depitted, in the,'application. All construction activities,

•Best�Management Practices, shall berperform`ed sothat no violations of state water qua, lity
standards, sta`tutes;,or rules occur,.
