It's hard ta say how much was lost in the rock-lined amtfa|| in the second and third pictures. The stream has a sand bed so I'm not sure how much of the sand in the 2 d picture is from the project and how much is natural. The inspector on site estimated about 4-5 5 gallon buckets worth of sediment made it off the project. m Approximately how much sediment made it into the stream/met|ands? m 1 think most of the sediment in the first picture made it into the wetlands. Probably 3-4 5 gallon bucket loads made it into the stream at the second site. m What measures are being taken to clean up the sediment? m The first area will be cleaned up by hand (shovel and bucket). The second area will be cleaned up by hand except at the streambank, which will be left as-is ta reduce further disturbance to the stream. m How long do you think it will take to clean up? m Cleanup will be accomplished within the next 2days. m What measures are being taken to prevent future loses? m Silt-fencing has been repaired and slopes have been mulched and seeded. m Will all the sediment be able to be removed from the stream/wetlands without damage to jurisdictional resources? m Yes. Clean mp will be done by hand with shovels and buckets taavoid damage ta jurisdictional areas. c X, Bii'd get }nvirorzzocrzti.fl II Z}ivi, iorz B 1».0. 13ox.
