Asphalt surfaces surrounding Outfall 42 will be cleaned monthly to remove any buildup of dirt, asphalt fines, and other particles that may impact TSS and metals in the stormwater. Any areas of sediment accumulation on paved surfaces that leads to the stormwater outfall will be swept up and deposited off of the paved surfaces. An example of this sediment buildup as shown in Figures IA and 1B. The areas that will be monitored and kept clean are highlighted in yellow as shown in Figure 2.
