Dear Mr. Mirecki:
Shield Engineering, Inc. (Shield) successfully collected a monthly stormwater sample for Stormwater
Discharge Outfall (SDO) #004 at the CIRCOR Pumps North America LLC — Monroe facility on September
21, 2021. The pH was measured at 6.4 at SDO 4004 and the total event precipitation was 0.12 inches. In
addition to the collection of samples, Shield performed Qualitative Monitoring at SDO #004. Shield has
prepared the Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) using the results of analyses from the
commercial laboratory that the CIRCOR facility has contracted with, and the field values indicated above.
The sampling results from the September 2111 event show that CIRCOR has an exceedance of Copper at
Outfall #004.
CIRCOR remains in Tier Three for Copper and Zinc at SDO #004. Shield greatly appreciates the
opportunity to provide environmental services to CIRCOR. If you have any questions in reference to this
document or require further information, please feel free to contact the undersigned at (704) 394-6913.

Dear Mr. Mirecki:
Shield Engineering, Inc. (Shield) successfully collected a monthly stormwater sample for Stormwater

#005 at the CIRCOR Pumps North America LLC — Monroe facility on October 8, 2021. The pH was
measured at 6.3 and 6.8 at SDO #004 and SDO #005, respectively, and the total event precipitation was
0.71 inches. In addition to the collection of samples, Shield performed Qualitative Monitoring at SDO
#004 and SDO #005. The Qualitative Monitoring Report for SDO #005 notes that the pipe has collapsed,
and stormwater is flowing around the pipe. This has caused a small amount of erosion around the left side
of the pipe. Furthermore, TSS values have increased during the last three sampling events at SDO #005,
and the benchmark could be exceeded if no corrective actions are taken. Shield has prepared the Stormwater
Discharge Monitoring Report ()MR) using the results of analyses from the commercial laboratory that the
CIRCOR facility has contracted with, and the field values indicated above. The sampling results from the
October 81" event show that there were no exceedances at either outfall.
CIRCOR remains in Tier Tbree for Copper at SDO #004. Shield greatly appreciates the opportunity to
provide environmental services to CIRCOR. If you have any questions in reference to this document or
