Brummet Creek Aquatic Barrier Removal Project
Dear Mr. Hartsell:
On June 5, 2014, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application requesting a
401 Water Quality Certification from the Division for the subject project. The Division has
determined that your application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on-
hold until all of the following information is received:
1. A review of the Pre - Construction Notification (PCN) Form indicates this application is for 32
linear feet of stream impacts. Pursuant to 143- 2145.3D (e), a $240 permitting fee is
required to process this application Please remit a check to DENR -DWR, 1650 Mail Service
Center, Raleigh, NC 27699 -1650.
2. According to the parcel information provided in the application, the current owner of the
parcel is Ephlee Peterson. When the applicant (Blue Ridge Resource and Conservation and
Development Council, Inc.) does not have title to the property, documentation must be
provided that the applicant has been authorized by the owner to apply for a certification.
Please submit four (4) copies of this documentation.
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(e), the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested
information for the proper consideration of the application. If all of the requested information is
not received in writing at the address below within 30 calendar days of receipt of this letter, the
Division will be unable to process the application and it will be returned. The return of this project
will necessitate reapplication to the Division for approval, including a complete application
package and the appropriate fee.
