May 26, 2022 Department of Environmental Quality Division of Water Resources 3800 Barrett Drive Raleigh, NC 27609 RE: Atwater Station Phases 1, 2, 3, & 6 Sewer System Extension Permit To Whom It May Concern: NC Dept of Environmental Quality r MAY 2 7 2022 Raleigh Regional Office On behalf of Baker Residential, please find the attached documentation in support of a Fast Track Application (FTA 06-21) for the referenced project. As noted in the application, this project will consist of 1,127 LF of 8" DIP and 1,294 LF of 8" C-900, and 3,080 LF of SDR-35 sewer located along Bass Lake Road and James Slaughter Road in Fuquay-Varina. The sewer proposed within this application will service 145 single family homes within the subdivision. There will be two separate Engineer's Certification pages included with the application; one for the gravity sewer and one for the pump station/force main. We would like to specifically request that the gravity sewer and pump station/force main be included within the same permit. The proposed project will meet all of DWR's minimum design criteria for sanitary sewer extensions as well as DWR's minimum design criteria for pump stations/force mains. The design flow rate for this project is calculated at 25,938 gpd based on NCAC 2T. The proposed sanitary sewer lines, pump station and force main are more than adequate to convey the design flow rates. Please find attached the following information in support of the application: • Fast Track Sewer System Extension Application properly executed and includes separate signature pages for gravity sewer and pump station/force main (FTA 06-21) • Row Tracking/Acceptance Form for Sewer Extension Applications (FTSE 10-18) • USGS Map • Street Level Map • Check for $480.00 to NC DEQ If you have any questions regarding this request or if you require any additional information, please feel free to contact me at 919-469.3340 or binge@withersravenel.com.
