Please give a brief project description below and include location information.

Project site is located on SR 1122, Hydeland Canal Road adjacent
the Hydeland Canal off the head of Juniper Bay in Hyde County near
swan Quarter, North Carolina. Boat traffic utilizing the NC WRC
boating access area is causing the bank to erode with the erosion
reaching the gravel travel lanes creating unsafe driving conditions.
NCDOT proposes to repair the shoulder to a minimum shoulder width
of 5' then armor the shoulder with class B riprap. Approximately 3,000
linear feet of riprap is proposed to protect the reconstructed
shoulder.
