Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or why it is necessary): Homeowner is requesting permission to stabilize roughly 86 linear feet of their shoreline with rip rap stone to avoid any worsening erosion into the lake. They are also requesting to remove 2 small trees within the buffer zone (please see photos provided) Both trees are probably 6" in diameter and are leaning over the rip rap. This project has already been completed. Duke energy has spoke with new property owners and educated them on what the permitting process is for this lake. 8.
