On June 6, 2014, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application requesting a
401 Water Quality Certification and Buffer Authorization from the Division for the subject project.
The Division has determined that this application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The
application is on -hold until all of the following information is received:
1. There was no Nationwide Permit Number or General Permit Number listed on page 1 of
the application, section a, numbers 1a and lb. Please contact Please contact William Elliot
at William.A.Elliot @usace.army.mil or (828) 271 -7980 ext. 224 with the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers to determine what permit number is applicable for this activity. Please send a
corrected page one (1) of the application with this information.
This letter only addresses the initial administrative review and does not authorize any impacts
to wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(e), the applicant
shall furnish all of the above requested information for the proper consideration of the
