Good Morning,
It was discovered yesterday afternoon that the clearing contractor had begun clearing and grubbing an area of the
buffer zone that was not permitted for allowable impacts. They were stopped and informed clearing was not allowed
between the two rows of safety fence (one of which was torn down in the process). I have attached a PDF of the buffer
drawings to show the area impacted in red, as well a few photos. The contractor will be reinstalling the safety fence that
was torn down, as well as the erosion control devices needed in this area today.
I'm not sure if the area between the two bridges was overlooked in the permitting process, but clearing will be needed
in this area, due to the proximity of the trees to the proposed bridge. Let me know how we need to proceed.
Thanks,
Stanley Harrell
