The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Jones-Onslow EMC
Vegetation Control on 6/21/2022. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in
compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NCG560024. The
findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection
report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report".

Robbie Bullock (Division of Water Resources/Water Quality) met with Artie King and Clayton Jones
(Jones Onslow EMC) to inspect Pesticide General permit NCG560024.
The Pesticide Discharge Management Plan (PDMP) was reviewed and appeared to be adequate and
contain all the required information.
Majority of the spraying is contracted to Southeast Woodlands with Jones Onslow EMC only
completing spot spraying of trees as needed. Backpack sprayers are used during application. Maps
were available during the inspection which showed areas sprayed with dates and amount of
chemicals used.
The Chemical storage area was clean and no visible signs of leaking containers were noticed on the
day of inspection.
