REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Bryant:
On May 31, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your revised plan from Walton
Engineering for impacting additional wetlands on the proposed subdivision. This is a request for
additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on
the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive the additional information requested below, we will
have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this
project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following
information so that we may continue to review your project.
Additional Information Requested:
1. Pages 8 and 9 in the application need to be revised to the 0.184 acres that you are now proposing
to fill.
2. In the cover letter provided on May 31, 2007, you proposed to restore the utility easement and
incorporate it into the conservation easement. Please provide a copy of the proposed restoration
plan.
Provide an overall site plan that depicts:
a. The original wetland fill;
b. The proposed wetland fill;
c. The restored utility easement and
d. 7'he wetlands that are to be placed in a conservation easement.
Shading or hatching the various areas can accomplish this depiction.
4. Provide cross sections (to scale) of wetland fills adjacent to wetlands to show how the fill slopes
or retaining walls will prevent additional fill in wetland areas and indicate on the site plans these
locations. Please show the finished grade with slopes that are at least 3:1.
5. Please provide DWQ with all additional information requested by the Corps of Engineers
