I learned from Boyd Devane yesterday that there has been some evolution on the use of PAM products since the 2004
memo that I gave you. Boyd explained that some cationic PAM products have been approved. Although FLOPAM C-
6207 polymer is not already approved, I understand that the approval process could be completed in approximately two
weeks and is not overly expensive. Please seethe following website for more information about testing required for
approval of PAM products.
