Currently undeveloped, the site is to be utilized for the development a single-family
residential subdivision. In its current condition the site drains generally from the west to
the east into the wetlands.
Storm water will be collected within the lots via grassed swales which will convey the
runoff into the proposed roadways where it will then be collected into the underground
storm system via curb inlets. This runoff will be conveyed to the proposed wet pond
near the northeast corner of the property. The proposed wet pond will discharge
adjacent to the existing wetlands. The wet pond has been designed in accordance with
the latest NCDEQ MDC Stormwater Design Manual. There is also a portion of the
property that is considered low density. The storm water from the low density area will
be transported through the property via a grassed swale. There is a curb outlet that has
a minimum swale length of 100 ft.
