Cameron Commercial Storm Water Narrative
The project is made up of two existing residential properties. The site is to be utilized for
a new flex space office building. A portion of the site drains to the west towards NC 24-
87. The remainder of the site drains to the east where the new wet pond is located.
Storm water will be collected from the site through an underground storm sewer
system. Storm water will then be conveyed through an underground drainage system
into a new on -site wet pond located along the eastern property line. The wet pond is
designed to mitigate the peak runoff for the 1 yr and 10 yr storm events. This basin has
been designed in accordance with the latest NCDEQ Stormwater Design Manual.
