This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NCG550417. A summary of the findings and comments noted during the inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report. The Compliance Evaluation inspection was conducted by Division of Water Resources staff from the Asheville Regional Office. This inspection was conducted to determine if the system is being operated and maintained in compliance with General NPDES Permit No. NCG550000. Prior to the inspection, Ms. Williams attempted to contact the owner but received no response. Ms. Williams was unable to locate any of the system components during the inspection. The home is currently being rented and Ms. Williams spoke with the current tenant during the inspection. The tenant provided a phone number for the owner’s son, Gary Massey. Mr. Massey was unable to locate the pipe and believes it may have been broken during a recent storm event. He stated that he will locate fix the pipe and send me a photo after the repair is made. Mr. Massey typically checks the pipe several times per year and stated that he has never seen the system discharge. If the system ever begins to discharge, sampling will be required according to the permit. The following deficiencies were noted during the inspection: 1.
