Here are pictures from Permit Site 1, U-3404. I know it doesn’t look like it, but the rock has been keyed in with the
bucket of a trackhoe. We will continue to monitor this site and wait for a few rains to determine if individual rock will
need to be removed from the thalweg. There just hasn’t been that much flow at this site recently. The one picture
shows where we transition into a larger JS at stream bed elevation. Please let me know if you have any questions or
concerns about our completed work.
And just FYI. The seed crew comes in Monday to stabilize the slopes and seed.

Our contractor on the NC 3/U-3440 project is a couple of day away from completing permit site 1. The permit site is a
channel change where if Donna were still with DWR, would come out and inspect the site prior to completion. Is there
anyone on staff that would like to visit the site, or would you prefer that I provide pictures once the water has been
release and the site completed? Thanks.
