I am writing regarding the letter dated March 3, 2022, requesting items to be addressed for our
permit renewal application. As designated by the Water Pollution Control System Operators
Certification Commission (WPCSOCC), we are required to have one or more certified operators
as a back-up ORC. We will be utilizing a contractor to serve as the back-up ORC. At this time,
we have contacted several contractors with the appropriate certifications from the NC Water
Pollution Control System Contract Operators List.
As soon as an arrangement is made with a contractor, we will submit the WPCSOCC designation
form to certadmingncdenr.gov. This will be completed expediently.
