On August 26, 2015, the Wilmington Regional Office received a plan revision for Stormwater
Management Permit Number SW8 050547. The revisions include the following specific changes:
1. The addition of 62,570 square feet of built -upon area for the Business Park access road
between Airport Boulevard and Garner Drive and the addition of 66,512 square feet of built -
upon area for Lot 9 of the Business Park for building and parking associated with the ILM Flex
Space. Runoff from all this built -upon area is permitted to be treated in the previously permitted
Extended Dry Detention Basin (EDDB).
After this project, a total of 3,012,132 square feet remains available for future development
within the Phase I & II EDDB drainage area.
Pre-treatment for the project will be provided by the grassed swale pre-treatment areas added to the
permit on November 29, 2012. It has been determined that a formal permit modification is not required
for the proposed changes. We are forwarding you an. approved copy of the revised plans for your files.
Please add the attached plans to the previously approved plan set.
Please be aware that all terms and conditions of the modified permit issued on November 29, 2012,
remain in full force and effect. Please also understand that the approval of this revision to the
approved plans for the subject State Stormwater Permit is done on a case -by -case basis. Any
other changes to this project must be approved through this Office prior to construction. The
issuance of this plan revision does not preclude the permittee from complying with all other
applicable statutes, rules, regulations or ordinances which may have jurisdiction. over the proposed
activity, and obtaining a permit or approval prior to construction.

DESIGN NARRATIVE
The New Hanover County Airport Authority is requesting a plan revision to NCDENR
Stormwater Permit SW8 0505047 for new roadway within the business park and to build a
building, parking, and sidewalks on Tract #9 of the business park. The existing permit allows
for a total impervious area in Phases I & II of 8,520,835 sf. Currently, there is an existing
impervious total of 5,379,621 sf, leaving 3,141,214 sf for future development. The new
development will add 129,082 sf of impervious area, making the total impervious area 5,508,703
sf and leaving 3,012,132 sf for future development.
