The property is an undeveloped residential lot located in the Ocean Sands Subdivision. General land use in the vicinity is residential.

The purpose of the project is to develop an existing lot for a 4 bedroom single family residence. In order to gain access to the upland area on the lot the owner will need to cross an area of
wetlands. The impacts associated with the driveway crossing will be 0.03 acres (1,330 sf).
4i. Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used: *
The property is an undeveloped lot in the Ocean Sands subdivision. To achieve access to an upland area, the driveway crossing will impact 0.03 acres (1,330 sf) of non -riparian 404
wetlands. Indirect impacts include additional surface runoff during construction of the driveway and house. Equipment will be stored on site during the construction.

We have designed the driveway location at the narrowest section of wetlands to avoid and minimize wetland impacts. The driveway has also been
designed at the minimum width required by Currituck Planning Department to further avoid and minimize wetland impacts.

The proposed driveway will be constructed with a maximum of 2 feet of fill above the existing wetland grade to reduce side slope from the driveway and
help avoid and minimize wetland impacts. The driveway will also be constructed with a culvert to provide connectivity with wetlands on either side to the
wetland crossing.
