In order to gain access to the upland area on the lot the owner will need to cross an area of wetlands. The impacts associated with the driveway crossing will be 0.03 acres (1,330 sf). 4i. The driveway has also been designed at the minimum width required by Currituck Planning Department to further avoid and minimize wetland impacts. lb. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques: The proposed driveway will be constructed with a maximum of 2 feet of fill above the existing wetland grade to reduce side slope from the driveway and help avoid and minimize wetland impacts. The driveway will also be constructed with a culvert to provide connectivity with wetlands on either side to the wetland crossing. 2.
