D. Impact Justification and Mitigation
1. Avoidance and Minimization
1a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing project.
Sanitary sewer is located in the stream bed. Efforts were made to re -route the sewer out of the stream, but property owners refused to grant the
necessary easements. This solution will move the stream away from the existing sanitary sewer easement and prevent further erosion along the
sanitary sewer main.

Erosion and sedimentation control devices with be installed prior to land disturbing activities and the contractor will be instructed to minimize land
disturbance during construction.
