Subject: RE: Colonial Pipeline at Hickory Creek
Hi Sue,
The Hickory Creek project does take place within the Randleman Lake drainage. The project is required for the
protection of the existing pipelines. I can confirm that all proposed work will take place within the limits of the right -of-
way / easements, all of which is maintained (primarily fescue). There will not be any work outside of the maintained
easements. If you have any questions or require any clarification, please do not hesitate to call me.

Will,
The PCN you submitted for this project indicates that the project is not within any DWR buffered basins, however
Hickory Creek drains to Randleman Lake and the project is therefore subject to the Randleman Lake Buffer Protection
Rules 15A NCAC 0213 .0267.
Can you verify that the proposed work will be conducted within the existing maintained easement? Please note that the
maintained easement may be different than the Colonial ROW. Thanks.
