This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NCG550514. A summary of the findings and comments noted during the inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report. The Compliance Evaluation inspection was conducted by Division of Water Resources staff from the Asheville Regional Office. This inspection was conducted to determine if the system is being operated and maintained in compliance with General NPDES Permit No. NCG550000. Ms. Williams attempted to contact the owner prior to the inspection but received no response. During the inspection, Ms. Williams met onsite with Claude Robinson (owner), who provided updated contact information. Mr. Robinson pointed out where the system components are located and where the discharge pipe is typically located. The septic tank was pumped last year. The pipe was not visible at the time of the inspection, as mud often covers the pipe in between heavy rains, but Mr. Robinson said he would send a picture of the pipe the next time it is visible. Ms. Williams advised Mr. Robinson that she could make another site visit when the pipe is visible. The following deficiency was noted during the inspection: 1.
