I didn't include the stormwater drawings, in line with what you stated, I figured since DEMLR Stormwater already issued the SW permit, they would not need that. I even mentioned in the narrative there would be no wetland impacts. Regardless, the certified SW plans shows there are no impacts to any of the wetlands. No basins or trenches are within the noncoastal or coastal either. When the designs are ready to submit for the community dock (9 slips) modification, there is no dredging proposed so I'm not sure about the dredging comment from DWR, but when we finalize those plans, it will show the existing water depths. (And having a lengthy career in CAMA permitting, I certainly am aware of the "historical dredging" requirement, especially in ORW.Q) I'll send you the stormwater plan once I get the scanning done and have an opportunity to discuss with Jonathan McDaniel. I can send directly to them if you prefer and copy you. Just let me know. Thanks Gregg, I really appreciate your assistance. The DWR typically does not allow stormwater BMPs to be constructed in wetlands. I am also unsure of the drainage easement on lot 59. Will this be trenched, and if so then what depth. Ditches that run adjacent to wetlands should not be dug deep enough to impact the hydrology, this depth is typically one foot. Also, it is worth noting that the future proposal for a docking facility should not have a dredging component unless they can provide historical dimensions for past dredging activities. I would like to see more info on the basin foot prints. If they avoid the wetlands then an Individual 401 Water Quality Certification would not be needed from DWR for this project. Tom Charles approved the JD this week before he went on leave. SAW- 2022-00474. At first glance I was going to say that a Corps permit would not be required, but when I looked closer at the plans a couple red flags went up. See attached plans with highlighted areas of concern/question. Specifically, the areas proposed for infiltration basins within the common areas. It appears they would be in close proximity to the wetlands onsite, and I didn't see a clear description of their dimensions or footprints. I highlighted the water access area, but that was before I read through the project description that the applicant will be coming back a later time for a dock permit. If I could get some clarification on the infiltration basins that would be super helpful to me. Thanks!
