The Town of'Jackson has experienced Infiltration and Inflow (1&1), since before 1 became ORC here in
Jackson in 2000. Over that time we have had grants awarded our Town to improve our sewer system for

applied for other monies to continue more rehabilitation but our Low to Moderate Income (LM 1) is to high.
thus being denied grant funding. The Town employees have performed maintenance to our systems with
moderate repairs as needed when situations arose to cause us to do so. l,he Town has entered into a
contractual agreement with L rigineering Services with Todd Steele being our new Town Engineer. We arc
pursuing with Mr. Steele's guidance, monies that the ll-S Government has available to aid in sewer
infrastructure repair and rehabilitation. Also with the help of Rural Water Association (Dwight Lancaster),
we have recently in April, smoked tested our sewer system and marked problem areas to address when we
acquire these monies. This activity has also been beneficial in checking previously performed repairs and
addition as well as the 2007 Grant project.
The town will diligently continue to work toward improving our sewer system and infrastructure.
