This report contains the storm water management overview for the residential project Utility
Improvements to Serve Shohboin Reserve - Phase 1 on Rockfish Road in Hoke County,
The project site is currently undeveloped. The proposed site consists of 115.32 acres.
The proposed site is located in Flood Zone `X' as shown on FEMA FIRM Panel 3710947500K
with an effective date of 1%5%07, Flood zones are subject to change by FEMA,
There are existing stream or wetland features on the proposed property.
There are four proposed storm water management facilities (three wet ponds and one
infiltraficn basin) outlined in this reperf and have been designed for post —development peak
attenuation to treat the impervious areas of the development. The Yet Pond SCM 1 is
designed to capture a drainage area of 20,29 ac with on impervious area of 8.53 cc. The
Infiltration Basin SCM 2 is designed to capture a drainage area of 9.05 ac with an
impervious area of 3.93 ac. The Wet Pond SCM 3 is designed to capture a drainage area
of 4.06 ac with an impervious area of 1.99 ac. The Wet Pond SCM 4 is designed to
capture a drainage area of 20.08 ac with an impervious area of 8.06 ac. The balance of
the site is open space and will by—pass the proposed SCRs. The SCIVis are designed to
treat a 1.0" storm event.
