(Shield) successfully collected a monthly stormwater sample for Stormwater Discharge Outfall (SDO) #004 and a quarterly stormwater sample for SDO #005 at the CIRCOR Pumps North America LLC — Monroe facility on August 3, 2021. The pH was measured at 6.2 at SDO #004 and 6.8 at SDO #005. Total event precipitation was 0.51 inches. In addition to the collection of samples, Shield performed Qualitative Monitoring at SDO #004 and SDO #005. Shield has prepared the Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) using the results of analyses from the commercial laboratory that the CIRCOR facility has contracted with and the field values indicated above. The person designated to act as the permittee by CIRCOR Pumping Technologies — Monroe facility should sign the DMR. The signed DMR form should then be submitted to the regulatory agency regional office at Mooresville, NC. The sampling results from the August 3'a event show that CIRCOR met all benchmarks at Outfall #004 and Outfall #005. CIRCOR remains in Tier Three for Copper and Zinc at SDO #004. Shield will continue to perform monthly sampling for SDO #004 per Tier Two requirements until instructed to halt by CIRCOR.
