HomeMy WebLinkAboutNC0025321_SOC - June 2022 Quarterly Report_20220606 June 6, 2022 Quarterly report per SOC section 2 (b) 8. The overall plant performance has been much improved this quarter. This has been due to the fact of being able to run the press more, there by being able to waste consistently. We have been able to keep our mixed liquor in a manageable range. We had a Teams meeting with Grant Weaver from Grant tech solutions to assess anything else we could be doing to help mitigate some of the compliance issues we’ve had. He made a few suggestions that we are currently working on. One of those is to sludge judge the aeration basin and see what the true depth is. There is a possibility that we have a build up of sediment in the basins causing less detention time. The other was to lower the mixed liquor. We have been able to achieve this by being able to waste more. Our current mixed liquor has been running in the low 4000’s opposed to 6000 or greater now that we can get rid of sludge. We have one primary clarifier temporarily offline for rehab to the gear box and motor. We hope to have it back on soon. The parts are at the machine shop currently and should be finished this week. We had a glitch in our influent flow meter The 27th of May. The Transducer appeared to be bad, so we replaced with a spare we had on hand. I have reached out to McGill to swing by and get the reading from the meter in the intermediate pump building as per DEQ. Should you have any questions about the report please don’t hesitate to let me know.
