Hi David,
I forgot to follow up in writing, regarding our phone conversation about the L-8 monitoring
report. Based on our conversation back on February 18, 2014, I have no further comments
regarding the L-8 Monitoring Report. The most important thing I remembered discussing in our
conversation, was for GES to allow the site to grow for a couple of years without major
replanting. By Year 5, DWR really wants to get a good feel of the site's ability to survive
without intervention. If too much replanting is deemed necessary at the site during the
monitoring periods, it could indicate that the site will not survive long term.
