They both look OK, I guess. Unclear how wide their riparian planting zones will be. It does not appear either is proposing pump- around. The Turner Creek PCN states .. "heavy equipment will be kept out of the stream channel during construction except where absolutely necessary to install boulder structures" (Page 3 of 11), and Ring Creek uses similar language (Page 7 of 11). Do they need some kind of special condition in their cert to allow this? Both appear to be pretty big streams, so I don't know that pump- around is practical. Eric W.
