Subject: Monitoring data trends for Northeast Creek and Third Fork Creek TMDL
Response Plans
This memo includes graphs with linear trend lines displaying fecal coliform concentration data
for Northeast Creek monitoring stations and total suspended solids concentration data for Third
Fork Creek monitoring stations in Durham. These graphs represent available data collected
from 2019 through 2021 by the City of Durham and the Upper Cape Fear River Basin
Association (UCFRBA). The City's Northeast Creek ambient monitoring stations are monitored
in even -numbered years and the UCFRBA began monitoring Northeast Creek at Sedwick Road
(site B3300000) in March 2020. The City's Third Fork Creek ambient monitoring stations are
also monitored in even -numbered years; however, TF1.0TC and TF3.4TC are monitored every
year. The UCFRBA also monitors Third Fork Creek at NC 54 Hwy (site B3025000) on a monthly
basis every year.
