It has been slightly tweaked again to account for some field review comments made by the construction foreman. The proposed permanent fill is now 22 sq. ft. of wetland fill and 234 sq. feet of temporary hand clearing. Please, disregard the previous permit drawing and use the attached drawing for review of this request. Please, let me know if you need anything else. Thanks, Clay From: Willis, Thomas C Sent: Monday, April 14, 2014 11:25 AM To: tracey.l.wheeler@usace.army.mil; Ward, Garcy; Wainwright, David Cc: Biddlecome, William J SAW (William.J.Biddlecome@usace.army.mil); Barnes, Kyle W SAW (Kyle.W.Barnes@usace.army.mil) Subject: R-2507A US 158 widening in Gates/Hertford County The contractor has determined they need a few extra square feet of wetland impact for a concrete footing placement, associated with a pipe headwall. This is at site 35 on the Gates County side of the project. I have attached a revised plan sheet and also a copy of the original permit drawing, for your comparison. They are proposing an additional 30 sq. ft. of permanent fill (footing) and 153 sq. ft. of temporary hand clearing (needed for installation/form work). This is very small amount, so I thought it could likely be done through an email request. Let me know if you all need any additional information. Bill/Kyle – I included you on this because I knew Tracey would be out for a couple weeks and didn’t know if she was forwarding any request.
