How to execute
• Valid to be served/executed only 24 hours after
issuance
• Must be served
— Personally to property owner or tenant between 8:00
a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
— If owner/tenant not present at time of search and
reasonable efforts made to locate him or her have
been made and failed, a copy of the warrant may be
posted to the property
• Must be returned to Magistrate within 48 hours
