Dear Ms. Manuel,
In response to the NOV dated May 6, 2022, thank you for the opportunity to research the issue. After speaking with Benjy Lassiter,
Public Works Director, the town would like to submit an explanation as to the cause of the NOV.
The map of the collection system, dated 1999, is the most current map that we have. The Town is working with McDavid Associates
to acquire and updated map to include the current collection system.
The Town is working to update all policies and procedures with an Operation and Maintenance Plan for the collection system included
in that list as well as a Grease Control Program in the list of items to update. The Town will be sure to forward these to you when
completed as requested in the NOV.
Mr. Benjy Lassiter has held training for the maintenance staff to ensure that all are aware of the frequency of visits required for the
system as well as the importance of logging every visit in the logbook.
Again, thank you for the opportunity to address these issues and correct them. The Town will do everything possible to see that these
