1. THE INTENT OF THIS PROJECT IS TO FILL AND GRADE A PORTION OF THE
EXISTING TLZ DODO SITE AND TO ESTABLISH A PERMANENT VEGETATIVE COVER
ON BARREN AREAS.
2. NO TREES GREATER THAN 2- IN CALIPER SHALL BE REMOVED WITHIN THE SITE.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT COMPLETE ANY CLEARING OR GRUBBING
ACTIVITIES WITHIN OR OUTSIDE THE DESIGNATED PROJECT LIMITS. NO
AREA OUTSIDE THE PROJECT LIMITS SHALL BE DISTURBED IN ANY MANNER.
3. ALL AREAS WITHIN THE PROJECT LIMITS INDICATED TO BE VEGETATED
SHALL BE PREPARED, SEEDED, AND STABILIZED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROJECT VEGETATION PLAN. SEE DETAIL C, SHEET C9.
EROSION CONTROL NOTES:
SCHEDULE OF EROSION AN SEDIMENTATION CONTROL ACTIVITIES
1. INSTALL INLET / OUTLET PROTECTION.
2. PERFORM FILLING AND GRADING AS INDICATED.
3. STABILIZE AND SEED ALL AREAS NOT TO BE FURTHER DISTURBED BY
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES WITHIN 10 CALENDAR DAYS OF THE COMPLETION
OF LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITIES.
4. RE -SEED AS NECESSARY TO ESTABLISH FINAL VEGETATION.
5. ADDITIONAL MISCELLANEOUS EROSION CONTROL MEASURES MAY BE
REQUIRED WHEN DEEMED NECESSARY BY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER OR
THE NCDENR'S LAND QUALITY SECTION.
6. REMOVE SILT FENCING AND GRAVEL CONTROL ENTRANCE ONCE
VEGETATION IS 95% ESTABLISHED.
MAINTENANCE PLAN
1. ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL DEVICES WILL BE CHECKED FOR
STABILITY AND OPERATION FOLLOWING EVERY RUNOFF -PRODUCING RAINFALL
EVENT BUT IN NO CASE LESS THAN ONCE EVERY WEEK. ANY NEEDED
REPAIRS WILL BE MADE IMMEDIATELY TO MAINTAIN ALL DEVICES IN THE
OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS INTENDED.
2. ALL AREAS WILL BE FERTILIZED, SEEDED, RESEEDED AS NECESSARY, AND
MULCHED ACCORDING TO SPECIFICATIONS IN THE VEGETATION PLAN IN ORDER
TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A VIGOROUS, DENSE VEGETATIVE COVER.
ANY SEDIMENT TRACKED ONTO THE ADJACENT ASPHALT ROAD SHALL BE
REMOVED ON A DAILY BASIS.
3. SEDIMENT SHALL BE REMOVED FROM BEHIND SILT FENCING
