A site visit was performed on July 20, 2005. The visit was to verify that the treatment
facility has not been constructed.
Currently, the groundwater remediation is occurring by natural attenuation and that
wastewater treatment plant is -considered a back-up remedy. The treatment plant has not
been constructed at this time due to the fact that the natural attenuation is sufficient for
the groundwater remedial treatment, however, the need to build the treatment plant in the
future is still possible because the current treatment process will;not be enough to meet
the final objectives for the groundwater remediation.
