After review of your proposal, the North Carolina Division of Water Resources (DWR) submitted comments and recommendations by letter dated May 14, 2014, a copy of which is enclosed for your consideration and response. You should provide written response to DWR's recommendations to minimize impacts to aquatic resources: 1. The Division believes that the applicant has not provided adequate justification for the proposed alternative. Alternative 9 -C significantly reduces the impacts to the perennial stream within the property boundary. Your response to the DWR's comments and recommendations should be provided to the Raleigh Regulatory Field Office, in writing, no later than June 16, 2014, so we can continue the timely processing of your application.
