NPDES Stormwater Permit NCG030452
Construction Stormwater Permit/S&EC
Mecklenburg County, North Carolina
Dear Ms. Pinkerman:
Enclosed please find a copy of the Compliance Evaluation Inspection Report for the inspection
conducted at the subject facility on December 11, 2013 by Ms. Donna Hood of this Office. Both the
Sediment and Erosion Control/Construction Stormwater inspection(s) as well as the Industrial
Stormwater Inspection reports are included. Please retain a copy of this letter and the associated
inspections as documentation of the decisions contained therein.
As discussed on the day of the inspection, the facility should consider the Construction
Stormwater Permit the controlling permit until the construction project is completed and stabilized.
Sampling normally required under the industrial stormwater permit (NCG030452) should resume
after construction is complete.
The report should be self-explanatory; however should you have any questions concerning
this report, please do not hesitate to contact me at (704) 663-1699 ext 2193 or by email at
donna.hood@ncdenr.gov.

Inspection Summary:
The inspection was performed to assist the facility in coverage under the construction stormwater permit versus the
industrial stormwater permit. Because the only outfall at the facility is currently heavily influenced by the construction
activity and not by the industrial activity, the construction stormwater permit is considered the prevailing permit under the
current site conditions. Once construction is complete and the site is stabilized, the exisitng industiral stormwater permit,
NCG030452, will resume enforce. The expected completion date is April 2014.
