Seems that there are other options than moving the river. Anything from abandoning the Daniels Ridge Trail (not
my preference) to rerouting the trail further up on the slope or down and cross the river with bridges or fords.
How about installing a 10' CMP in alignment with the trail to act as a tunnel for the trail and let the landslide slide
over it and let the river stay where it is.
