Dear Ms. Jarrell:
Division of Water Resources’ Central and Regional staff has reviewed the application package
received December 2, 2021, and subsequent additional information received March 15, 2022. A draft
permit was provided to Charlotte Water for review on May 13, 2022. However, at the Applicant’s request,
additional information is required before the review and permit drafting process may be completed. Please
address the item no later than the close of business on June 16, 2022.
 It was determined that Charlotte Water would no longer operate the conjunctive utilization
irrigation fields at The Traditions Golf Club and the Mallard Creek Community Park. As
such, the draft permit provided to the applicant on May 13, 2022 was considerably different
than the existing permit. Our office understands that the applicant would like additional
time to review the draft permit with their consultants. Please review the attached draft and
return with any comments before the expiration date of the request.
Please be aware that you are responsible for meeting all requirements set forth in North Carolina
rules and regulations. Any oversights that occurred in the review of the subject application package are
still the Applicant’s responsibility. In addition, any omissions made in responding to this item, or failure
to provide the additional information on or before the above requested date may result in your application
being returned as incomplete pursuant to 15A NCAC 02T .0107(e)(2).

Please reference the subject application number when providing the requested information. All
revised and/or additional documentation shall be signed, sealed and dated (where needed), with an
electronic response submitted to my attention at: https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/NonDischarge-Branch-
Submittal-Form-Ver2.
