The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to rev>ew your project. Additional Information Requested: I) You will be required to place a deed notification/deed restriction on the remaining wetlands on the project. Please provide a notarized copy of the draft deed notification/restriction, covenants, preservation (if required by the Corps) language that, at a minimum, notify future lot owners that there are wetlands on the property, which are protected by the NC Division of Water Quality and the US Anny Corps of Engineers. If you plan on preserving the remaining wetlands on the tract, please provide a notarized copy of the draft language that will accomplish preservation. Example language for the deed notification is available on our website http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/ncwetlands/certs.html. Please respond within three weeks of the date of this letter by sending this information to me in writing and 5 copies of the information to Ian McMillian of the DWQ Oversight Unit Office. You will also need to send copies of the language to Mickey Sugg of the Wilmington Corps of Engineers.
